Exercise Physiology services include the delivery of clinical exercise intervention to manage chronic disease and the provision of post-acute exercise rehabilitation for people recovering from major injury or illness.

Exercise Physiology treatment contributes to the management of:

  • Age Related Conditions

  • Chronic Pain

  • Anxiety, Depression and PTSD

  • Weight Management, Obesity

  • Falls Prevention, Balance, and Mobility

  • Diabetes

  • Cardiovascular Disease

  • Respiratory Diseases such as Emphysema and COPD

  • Osteoporosis and Arthritis

  • Mobility, ROM and Flexibility

  • Cancer

  • Pre or Post Surgery

 

BCEP assists veterans manage their health conditions by:

​

  • Conducting a detailed assessment and providing an individualised exercise program to improve or manage their health conditions

  • Providing exercise sessions in our Cardiff clinic in an individual or group environment, depending on their needs

  • Ongoing education to equip veterans with the skills to independently manage their health conditions through exercise, activity and lifestyle modification.

To claim services through the Department of Veteran Affairs, a D904 referral form from your GP/specialist is required.
